Ranchi, Dec 8: A total of 119 beneficiaries were provided medical grants under the Chief Minister’s Health Assistance Scheme during the review meeting of the District Level Committee for the selection of beneficiaries under the chairmanship of DC Chhavi Ranjan.
In the meeting, the list of beneficiaries already recommended for the medical grant under the Chief Minister’s Health Assistance Scheme by the Civil Surgeon Ranchi was discussed by the committee.
The Chief Minister while amending the implementation of the Medical Assistance Scheme run by the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department for the ST, SC and OBC categories, the ceiling of the grant amount, the process of payment and renaming the Medical Assistance Scheme to Health Assistance Scheme.
Under the Chief Minister’s Health Assistance Scheme, ST, SC, OBC category ration cardholders will be eligible to get the benefit of the grant amount. It will be mandatory for the applicant to attach a photocopy of the ration card with the application. To take advantage of the grant amount under the scheme, it will also be mandatory to dedicate a photocopy of the caste certificate issued online to the applicants belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes along with the application. The applicant will also have to submit the certificate related to the disease along with the application, as well as the photocopy of the Aadhar card and bank account is required to be attached.
Applicants can submit their application to the office of the Block Office or District Welfare Officer or Project Director ITDA.
Project Director ITDA, Civil Surgeon Ranchi, District Welfare Officer Ranchi, and MLA representatives were present in the meeting organized in the Deputy Commissioner’s auditorium located at Ranchi Collectorate.
