Ramgarh, Oct 7: The team of Sikh Regiment Ramgarh won various medals in the 36th National Games which is being held in Gujarat.
Asian Games Medalist Coach Subedar Ranjit Singh and Navy Coach Subedar Gurinder Singh said that the rowing team of Sikh Regiment Ramgarh won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the event. All these jawans had done a lot of rowing practice at Patratu Dam.
Jaswinder Singh won the gold medal in the games organized by the service team whereas Kulwinder Singh and Karamjit Singh got silver medal in double sculls from the Punjab team.
On the other hand, Pratap Singh and Jagjit Singh won the bronze medal from the Jharkhand team in Main Scull.
Commander Brigadier Shailesh Sethi, Coach cum Asian Games Medalist Subedar Ranjit Singh, Coach Subedar Gurinder Singh and other jawans have congratulated the soldiers who won the competition.
