Investors became rich, Sensex closed with a strong 639 points, Nifty close to 16 thousand

Lagatar Desk: Amidst positive global cues, there was a good rally in the domestic stock market today. Both Sensex and Nifty indices ended on the green mark today. The Sensex closed at 52,837.21 with a jump of 638.70 points. On the other hand, Nifty closed at 15,824.05 with a gain of 191.95 points.

Tech Mahindra shares gained the most

26 shares of 30-share Sensex are showing green marks. At the same time, 4 shares closed on the red mark. In the BSE Sensex, Tech Mahindra’s shares are seeing the highest rise of 5.64 percent. On the other hand, HUL shares saw the biggest fall of 2.27 per cent. Today’s top gainer list on BSE includes shares of Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finserv and Tata Steel. On the other hand, HUL, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto and M&M are included in the list of top losers.

These stocks gained on BSE

On the BSE today, shares of Larsen, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Titan, Sun Pharma, Reliance, HDFC, IndusInd Bank and Nestle are seeing a jump. Apart from this, the shares of Dr Reddy’s, Maruti, Power Grid, NTPC, Ultra Tech Cement, HDFC Bank, TCS, Kotak Mahindra, SBI, HCL Tech and ITC also closed on the gains.

These stocks rose and fell on Nifty

JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel and Bajaj Finserv were the biggest gainers on Nifty. On the other hand, shares of HUL, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Cipla and M&M closed on the red mark. Talking about sectoral indices, except FMCG, all other indices closed on the green mark. BSE midcap and small cap also closed with a gain of 1.5-1.5 percent.
