Geeta Koda accorded rousing welcome in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Aug 30 : Singhbhum MP and newly appointed Congress state working president Geeta Koda was accorded a rousing welcome on her arrival in Jamshedpur on Monday.

She was accompanied by her husband and former chief minister Madhu Koda.

This was the first visit of Geeta Koda in Jamshedpur after she was appointed as the state Congress working president.

Local Congress leader Kamal Kishore Agarwal and senior functionaries of Congress OBC Cell assembled in Sakchi beating nagaras welcoming Koda.

” My focus will be to strengthen the party at the grassroots level, ” she said addressing partymen at the Bistupur-based Tilak Pustakalay, the party headquarters.

The Congressmen held banners and party flags throughout the road through which Geeta Koda and her husband crossed.

State general secretary of Youth Congress Paritosh Singh and hundreds of his supporters too welcomed Koda on her visit to Steel City.
