67th BPSC prelims expected to be held after June 15

Patna, May 11: After reports of paper leak of the Bihar BPSC 67th Prelims, the exam was postponed., Now, the commission is expected to conduct 67 preliminary exams after June 15, according to sources. Although no official announcement has yet been made, it is expected that this date will be stamped very soon.

Earlier, in connection with the alleged leak of the question paper, Bihar Police arrested four people on Tuesday, including a Block Development Officer (BDO). The arrests were made by the Bihar Police’s Economic Offenses Unit (EOU), according to a statement released by the special unit of the state police.

The arrested persons have been identified as Jaivardhan Gupta, BDO of Barhara in Bhojpur district, who was appointed magistrate in-charge of Veer Kunwar Singh College, Arrah, where the question paper was allegedly leaked on Sunday. The EOU statement said that Yogendra Prasad Singh, Deputy Center Superintendent of Veer Kunwar Singh College, Assistant Center Superintendent Kumar Sahai and Deputy Controller of Examinations Sushil Kumar Singh are also among those arrested.
