Ranchi, June 5: The BJP organised the Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda Aadiwasi Vishwas rally that saw the presence of several senior leaders of the state including BJP National President Jay Prakash Nadda. Notably, the BJP is now preparing to attract the tribal society towards it by targeting the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections of 2024.

On the occasion, Dumka MP Nalin Soren said that the Soren family has done the work of looting mineral resources and coal in the state. BJP is the only party which can do the welfare and development of a tribal society of the state.

Former MP Sudarshan Bhagat said, “BJP is always working for the welfare of tribals. The Modi government is running various schemes in their interest.”

MLA Neelkanth Singh Munda said, “Today, if any political party has the highest participation of tribal society in the country, then it is BJP. JMM and parties like Congress have always lied to the tribal society. Hemant government has completely failed in regards to developing the tribal society.”

Meanwhile, state president Deepak Prakash said that the tribal society is on the margins of the Hemant government. While the Modi government is opening the door of progress for the tribal society, the Hemant government is making a path of destruction for them instead of development.

Former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das said that when the current National President of BJP was the Health Minister, he did the work of providing five medical colleges for the tribal society of Jharkhand. These colleges have been opened in Dumka, Garhwa, and Palamu and work is going on in Chaibasa and Koderma. He further said that regional parties have used tribal society as a vote bank.

Union Minister Arjun Munda, on the occasion, said that the BJP’s policy of ‘Service’ and ‘Good Governance’ is dedicated to the ‘poor’. The Modi government is working 24 hours to give an identity to the tribal society. “In this episode, the decision of the Modi government to celebrate ‘Adivasi Pride Day’ is historic,” Munda added. Munda further said that the launch of ‘Adi Adarsh Gram’ is a big effort to maintain the identity of the people of the tribal society.
