Jharkhand govt’s three-day adventure sports begin at Patratu dam

Ramgarh, July 11: The Jharkhand government’s Tourism Department launched adventure sports at Patratu Dam and Kurse Maidan to increase tourism in the area.

Nagendra Kumar Sinha, the Ramgarh Deputy Development Commissioner, officially opened the three-day adventure sports today.

 

 

On this occasion, SDO Mohammad Javed Hussain, DFO Ved Prakash, District Sports Officer cum District Nodal Officer Haldhar Kumar Sethi and BDO Devdutt Pathak were also present.

Many adventure sports were practised today, primarily water sports, banana rides, and surface and water scooters.

 

Gautam Mishra, the Section Director of the Tourism Department said, “It will run from July 11 to July 13. In this, people will be able to enjoy these adventure sports even in Kurse Maidan”.

Children above the age of 10 years will be able to enjoy this event free of cost. From July 11 to July 13, the adventure sports will be organized daily from 7 am to 11 am and from 3 pm to 5 pm.
