AAP’s power in the Lok Sabha was reduced to zero as a result of Bhagwant Mann becoming the state’s chief minister after the party won the Punjab Assembly Election. AAP, on the other hand, has 10 members in the Upper House in addition to 62 MLAs in Delhi, 92 in Punjab, and 2 in Goa.

In the 10.86 lakh-member electoral college, AAP holds votes worth 21,308 in total.

It is noteworthy that the opposition parties’ conference to come to an agreement on a joint candidate for the presidential election was skipped by AAP.

The presidential election is set for July 18 since President Ram Nath Kovind’s tenure expires on July 24.
