Ramgarh, July 21: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge III Sanjay Pratap has found the two accused brothers, Md. Anwar Hussain and Md. Kalam was guilty and convicted under Section 302 of the IPC.
Along with this, July 25 has been fixed for a hearing on the point of punishment. The accused duo were having a dispute with Kishore Giri to fetch water from a water tanker.
On getting information, his 21-year-old son Sunil Kumar Giri alias Pappu reached the spot to rescue his father. Md. Anwar Hussain and Md Kalam left Kishore Giri and started assaulting Pappu. He was badly injured.
The family members took Sunil to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead on arrival. In this case, the youth’s father Kishore Giri had lodged an FIR against the brothers in Barkakana OP.
On the basis of the evidence presented in the court by Additional Public Prosecutor SK Shukla on behalf of the prosecution, the court found the accused guilty and fixed July 25 for a hearing on the point of punishment. Kishore Giri, who fell ill in mourning of his young son, also passed away this year.
