Ramgarh, July 29: The Kuju OP police arrested three youths on Thursday and were sent to judicial custody on charges of bike theft on July 17 from Rauta forest under Ramgarh district.
OP in-charge Dhananjay Prasad informed about the matter that Imran Khan, a resident of Naisarai, Ramgarh, was plucking leaves for his goats after parking his bike in the Rauta forest on July 17.
Meanwhile, Karu Munda, Deepak Munda and Anil Munda, residents of Sevta, who were roaming in the forest, broke the lock of the bike and took it with them. They hid the bike at Karu’s house.
Imran was shocked to see that his bike was missing. He immediately informed the incident to Kuju OP police. Prasad, taking quick action, along with Ani Kamlesh Singh, and Sani Shahnawaz Khan intensified efforts to arrest the thieves.
Meanwhile, the police got information that three youths were riding a white bike without a number. Immediately, the youths were detained and questioned by the police. After not getting a satisfactory answer, the police seized the bike and arrested the three youths and sent them to judicial custody.
