Ranchi, July 30: Governor Ramesh Bais today went to meet Padmashri Simon Oraon at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), where the octogenarian known for his work in the field of water conservation was admitted on Friday for treatment after a brain stroke.
Governor Bais held Oraon to make the latter feel his presence. He wished for his speedy recovery and talked to the family members of Oraon.
Oraon is being treated under the supervision of Dr. Govind Madhav in the neurology ward located on the second floor of the RIMS.
Those present during the presence of the governor in the hospital included RIMS medical superintendent Dr Hirendra Birua, deputy superintendent Dr Shailesh Tripathi, Dean Dr Vivek Kashyap and doctors of the department.
Later, talking to a section of media, the governor said that as soon as he got information regarding the poor health condition of tOraon he reached RIMS to meet him. He said that he realized that his health has improved a lot in two days of treatment.
