Daltonganj: Water logging in B Ed block of GLA college creates problems

Daltonganj, July 31: The B Ed block of the GLA college in Daltonganj is water logged and causing extreme difficulties for students, teachers and non teaching personnel here.

Girls pursuing B Ed courses here face more problems because of their uniforms being a saree, which they are forced to wade through the water logged areas.

The state secretary of the Youth Congress Abhishek Tiwary has urged the B Ed block management to help the residents of the water logged areas in front of the B Ed block.

Tiwary alleged that the management is not concerned about the problems of the residents of the refion.

Director of the B Ed block Dr I J Khalkho assured that steps would be taken to overcome the water logging issue. He has sought time of a couple of days for this.

Sources said even a limited rain causes the water to log in the region.
