Ramgarh, Aug 1: Ranchi-Varanasi Intercity Express will be back on track from August 20 after a gap of one year.
The Railways has decided to resume the operation of express trains that were closed during the Corona period.
It was informed by the Railways that 18611 and 18612 Ranchi-Varanasi and Varanasi-Ranchi Intercity Express will be operated at the scheduled time from 20th August. The train will go to Varanasi five days a week and will return to Ranchi from there.
At present, the express train operates between Sambalpur-Varanasi for only two days. The demand for running Ranchi-Varanasi Intercity Express for a week was being made for a long time.
