Har Ghar Tiranga: Tricolour on sale at post offices in Palamu

Daltonganj, Aug 3: Tirangas are being sold at the post offices in Palamu to meet the growing demand for tricolour due to the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme. Koel Aajeevika Apparel Park in Chainpur is busy making Tiranga cater to the requirement.

The postmaster of Daltonganj Head Post office Uma Shankar Sharma Bhatt said, “We have sold more than 1,500 Tirangas to date. There is joy and jubilation among the buyers here who come to buy Tiranga at our counter.”

The Tiranga that is being sold here costs Rs 25 each. There are 38 departmental post offices here besides 500 plus a smaller unit of the post offices.

It is to be reminded here that Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society’s (JSLPS) Tiranga has been priced at Rs 18 only.
