Ranchi, Aug 9: A group of anti-social elements on behalf of Jayaram Pandey, a resident of the cooperative colony in Bokaro Steel City, has allegedly caused massive destruction to the property (residential plot) that belongs to the NDRF personnel inspector Rahul Kumar Singh, a resident of Bokaro who is currently on rescue and evacuation duty in a flood-prone area of Bhagalpur in Bihar.
The mentioned plot no 3595 is in MAUJA, NARAYANPUR, Chaura, under Pindrajora police station in the same district. Though the matter is under trial against sections 144 and 145, Pandey allegedly intentionally tried to get possession by doing illegal construction in the plot.
Singh informed this to Lagatar24.com saying though he ‘brought to the notice of local administration including SP, DSP, DC SDM and police authorities regarding the illegal construction but no action has been taken in the matter.’
Singh also shared relevant documents saying such action in his absence has put him under tension and he was finding him helpless and as everyone is calling him to explain the problem face to face and he was not in a position to leave his duty in the critical situation.
Singh said officials of SDM court and Pindrajoda police station are passing the buck on each other and buying time to help Pandey to get possession during the pendency of the case.
On contacting Superintendent of Police (SP) of the district Chandan Kumar Jha for his comment on the matter, he said that he has directed the deputy superintendent of police to ensure that no further work be done today. He said he will personally look into the matter tomorrow.
“I have come to know about the matter in the morning through one of my DSPs. Without going into details on the matter I have asked him to ensure that no further work is done on the plot. Today is Muharram. I will personally look into the matter tomorrow and take justified steps,” Jha said.
