Ranchi, Aug 13: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has decided to secure a Non Bailable Warrant (NBW) against Dahu Yadav of Sahibganj who is allegedly a key member of the illegal stone mining syndicate.
Well placed sources have said that the agency will soon approach the special PMLA court of Prabhat Kumar Sharma to secure NBW against him. The ED is said to have further asked the Sahibganj district police to share inputs related to Dahu Yadav.
Dahu Yadav is a close associate of Jharkhand CM’s MLA representative Pankaj Mishra and he is allegedly involved in illegal stone mining and transportation. Pankaj Mishra is currently in jail following his arrest by the ED in the money laundering case.
Dahu Yadav is missing since July 18 when he last turned-up at the Ranchi zonal office of the ED for questioning. On July 19, he informed the ED that owing to a sudden medical problem of his mother he had to rush to Sahibganj to look after his mother. He assured the ED that he would turn-up once his mother gets well. Under this health pretext, he disappeared. However he is said to be in Sahibganj district at a safe hideout place.
The ED sent him three summonses demanding his compulsory appearance before the agency. But he did not turn-up. He sent an e-mail to ED and sought additional time so that he could arrange the required documents. The ED has sent summons to his brother Sunil Yadav and son Rahul also.
