New Delhi, Aug18: The charge sheet for the Sidhu Moose Wala case lists fifteen persons. Lawrence Bishnoi and Bishnu Bhagwanpuria have been named as the masterminds.

Lawrence Bishnoi, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Manmohan Mohana, Deepak Tinu, Sandeep Kekda, Ankit Sirsa, Priyavrat Fauji, Sachin Bhiwani, Keshav, Kashish, Manpreet Manu, and Jagroop Roopa are among the criminals whose names appear on the charge sheet.

The charge sheet also names other suspects detained in Delhi-Punjab jails who were implicated in the murder plan, including absconding shooters Deepak Mundi and Manpreet Bhau. A day after the murder, the Mansa police picked up Manpreet Manu from Dehradun and made the first arrest in the case.

The charge sheet lists more than 40 witnesses, including the detective working on the case, the pathologist who performed the autopsy, two friends who were in the car with the singer when he was killed, and Moose Wala’s family.

Sidhu Moose Wala, singer and Congress activist, was shot and killed on May 29 in Punjab’s Mansa district. After the state government reduced Sidhu Moose Wala’s security cover, he was shot and killed the next day. He was travelling in a jeep with his cousin and a friend, both of whom were hurt in the incident. In Jawaharke village, singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala was shot and killed by Ankit Sirsa, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. According to the autopsy report, he was shot 19 times and died within 15 minutes of being hit.
