New Delhi, Aug 23: Raju Srivastava, a well-known actor and comedian who has been receiving treatment at AIIMS for a fortnight after suffering a heart attack, is stable but is still unconscious, according to his daughter on Thursday.
After having a heart attack on August 10, the 58-year-old stand-up comedian was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in this city. The same day, he had an angioplasty.
“He is steady but unresponsive. He is being treated by doctors, “Antara Srivastava, his daughter, spoke to PTI.
His wife Shikha claimed last week that Srivastava is a warrior who will bounce back stronger amid concerns of his failing health. Shikha also requested the media and the supporters to refrain from spreading rumours since they lower the morale of the family.
“We do not want negative energy, we need positivity. Please pray for his speedy recovery and he will be back soon,” she had told PTI.
