Ramgarh: Kin of Covid victim gets compensation under govt. scheme

Ramgarh, Sept 6: The family of the deceased during the Covid-19 pandemic received compensation worth Rs 2,00,000 under the Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana of the central government from the head office of the Jharkhand Rajya Gramin Bank on Tuesday.

General manager S Pani, officials and branch manager Bikesh Kumar gave the cheque to Malti Devi, wife of the deceased Shankar Singh, who died during the pandemic in 2021.

General Secretary of BJP Hrishikesh Singh helped the family in getting the benefit of the scheme.

A ray of hope has arisen in the family and she has thanked the Modi government from the bottom of her heart for what has been done in this hour of crisis, he said.

“People should take advantage of the schemes run by the Modi government,” said S Pani.
