Ramgarh police solve finance company robbery case, arrest agent

Ramgarh, Sept 24: The police solved the finance company robbery case within 48 hours and arrested the agent Nayamuddin Ansari, the one who executed the robbery and lodged an FIR at Barlang police station on the same day.

The robbery took place on September 20 when Rs 1,47,283 was robbed from the finance company’s office at Dakagadha in Ramgarh at gun point. 

In this case, agent Nayamuddin Ansari had lodged an FIR at Barlang police station on the same day.  The police started to search for the robbers. The team formed on the instructions of SP Piyush Pandey cracked the case within 48 hours and caught the robber.  

 

The bike’s key and cash worth Rs 7,800 was recovered from Ansari’s house

SDPO Ramgarh Kishore Rajak said in a press conference on Saturday that the agent Nayamuddin executed the robbery by involving two robbers he knew from Pirtand under Giridih district.  

Rajak added that after robbing the money, the police suspected the agent himself to be the mastermind.  They were keeping an eye on his movements. They had also put his mobile number on surveillance. After this, the whole matter was exposed.

On interrogation,  Nayamuddin informed police that two of his friends from his village Meraj Ansari and Saddam Ansari, made the plan. They were arrested from his house when police went there to search.  

Police recovered cash but Meraj Ansari managed to escape. Saddam Ansari, who was involved in the case, was arrested. A Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle which was used in the robbery was recovered from his house.

Apart from that, cash worth Rs 7,800 was also recovered.
