Tata Steel Foundation, West Bokaro Division conducts recruitment drive for women

Ramgarh, Oct 14: The Tata Steel Foundation, West Bokaro Division and Model Career Centre, in collaboration with Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), Hosur, Tamil Nadu, conducted a recruitment drive on Friday. This opportunity was extended exclusively to female candidates, aged between 18 and 22 years, who had completed class 12 or held any other diploma or degree.

A total of 486 girls from Banji, Duni, Pundi, Kedla, Bhelgarha, Ghatotand, Atna, Sirka, Bargaon, Chainpur, Ichakdih and Laio had applied for the post of junior technician.

Out of them, 231 have been shortlisted for the written examination. The successful candidates will undergo training provided by TEPL.

Kajal Kumari of Ghatotand expressed her happiness and stated, “Tata Steel Foundation has once again given us, women, a wonderful opportunity. I too have applied for the position and am looking forward to working with the Tata group, where women feel secure and respected.”

Last month, 97 women were selected for this position, through a similar initiative and they are currently working at TEPL in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
