Hazaribagh, Nov 1: Adani Foundation organized a free health checkup at Ambajit village of Badkagaon block under the Gondalpura Coal Project on Tuesday.

More than 81 villagers participated in the camp including women and children. A team of paramedical staff led by the General Physician of Hazaribagh Dr. RK Ranjan provided free medicines to the villagers.

Health check-up of women, villagers, and the elderly was done in this camp which lasted throughout the day from 11:00 am. The villagers came ahead of themselves and informed the doctor about their health-related things and took the necessary consultation with him. The doctor also examined the blood pressure, weight, and pulse of the villagers and inquired about their general physical fitness.

The doctor said people should take special care of children along with themselves because, with the changing weather, outbreaks of diseases also start and children are the first to fall prey to them.

“It is very important to take precautions to avoid various types of viral and other diseases like cold, cough, and cold,” he added.
