Jharkhand: Clear weather today, minimum temperature to drop after 48 hrs

Jamshedpur, Nov 10: Dry and clear weather conditions would prevail in all districts of Jharkhand today, said a bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

Weathermen said no significant synoptic system prevails over Jharkhand.

The Western Disturbance as a trough in mid-tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level now runs roughly along Long. 70°E to the north of Lat. 28°N.

An induced cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan and neighbourhood persists and was seen at 1.5 km above mean sea level.

Weathermen said the cyclonic circulation would not have any impact in Jharkhand. The Met office extended the warning of fog and mist in the morning across Jharkhand.

A duty officer said the minimum reading is expected to witness a drop after the next 48- hours.
