Overspeeding claims two lives near law university in Ranchi

Ranchi, Nov 18: Two died in a road accident on Kanke Ring Road near National University for Study and Research in Law (NUSRL).

The accident occurred after an over-speeding turbo truck bearing registration number JH 02N-9431 collided with a road divider while overtaking a vehicle. The truck was coming from Newari Chowk and heading towards Kanke.

Those who died have been identified as the driver and Khalasi.

Sub-inspector of Kanke police station, Mohit Kumar, said that with the help of villagers, the bodies of the deceased were taken out from the truck and sent to RIMS. Efforts are being made to contact the owner of the vehicle and the family members of the deceased from the mobile found in the turbo truck.
