Congress leaders to join Bharat Jodo Yatra in Dhanbad on Dec 9

Dhanbad, Dec 2: Jharkhand ministers, Congress state president and other senior leaders of the party are set to participate in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ which is to be organized in Dhanbad on December 9.

Dhanbad district Congress president cum State Disciplinary Committee (SDC) chairman Brajendra Prasad Singh said that the second phase of Bharat Jodo Yatra would begin from Steel Gate and come to Randhir Verma Chowk crossing Saraidhela, Jagjivan Nagar, IIT ISM Gate and Police line. It will turn into a rally at the Randhir Verma Chowk.

“For the success of the Yatra, Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta, Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh, state Cong Committee president Rajesh Thakur, Bharat Jodo Yatra programme Jharkhand coordinator and former union minister Subodh Kant Sahay would participate in it,” said Brajendra Prasad Singh.

For this, the District Congress Committee today held a meeting of all office bearers and town and blocks presidents at the Housing Colony-based party office for preparations. After the meeting, the president appealed to all present and former MLAs and senior leaders to join the Yatra to make Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi’s mission successful.

Senior Cong leader Vijay Kumar Singh, Yogendra Singh Yogi, district committee treasurer Ramesh Jindal, Navnit Neeraj, Dinesh Singh, and Dr DK Singh were present at the meeting.
