Bhupendra Patel takes oath as Gujarat CM for second consecutive term

New Delhi, Dec 11: Gujarat BJP leader Bhupendra Patel took oath on Monday for the second consecutive time as CM in a grand ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and other central ministers.

He was administered the oath as the 18th chief minister by Governor Acharya Devvrat at a function near the new Secretariat in Gandhinagar. Patel had taken over for Vijay Rupani in September of last year before the state elections.
