Collegedunia Connect awards XISS in Higher Education Summit

Ranchi, Dec 19: The Xavier Institute of Social Service has been awarded the Excellence in Social Responsibility Category by Collegedunia at the Higher Education Summit, Chapter 2.0 on Reimagining Education in India @100 years on December 16 organised by Collegedunia Connect.

Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur SJ, Director XISS received the award from Dr Abhishek Mishra, Former Cabinet Minister, Uttar Pradesh and Former Professor, IIM-A on this occasion.

“Social Responsibility is something unique to XISS as we identify and relate to it, which many other B-Schools across the world do not emphasize on. This is the need of the hour, which the pandemic has made us realize. This award is dedicated to the past and present faculty, staff, students, alumni, and stakeholders who have slogged hard and made sacrifices for the Institute to move forward,” said Dr Kujur upon receiving the award.

Dr Amar E. Tigga, Dean Academics, XISS participated as a panellist in this summit where experts from the field discussed the inclusive education scenario of the nation. XISS is proud to have received the award for its untiring efforts in the field of education and social responsibility for nation-building. XISS was awarded for its work in the field of Inclusivity in Education, Clean Campus, Smart Campus, and Green Campus.
