Ranchi, Dec 21: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday said that his government will provide Rs 1,200 crore as a gift to the beneficiaries of various government schemes on December 29.
While addressing a meeting at the assembly, the CM added that it has been decided by the state government that 10 lakh landless and drought-affected farmer families will get the benefit of drought relief amount. Apart from this, the scholarship amount will be given to 25 lakh students studying in schools under the pre-matric scholarship scheme.
Moreover, benefits and the benefit of assistance amount will be provided to 5,60,000 girls covered by Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana and the amount will be directly transferred to their bank accounts through DBT.
“Our government is working to give rights to the people belonging to all sections of the state. Ever since the formation of the state, our government has resolved to solve all the problems of the people of Jharkhand,” the CM said.
He added that for the first time in Jharkhand, the ‘Aapke Adhikar, Aapki Sarkar, Aap Dwar’ program has been conducted. The purpose of these programs is to ensure that all sections including tribal, Dalit, oppressed, and underprivileged get their rights in their villages. It can be ensured that it is made available at home.
Notably, the CM directed the officers that for the transfer of funds through DBT to the beneficiaries of the Drought Relief Scheme, Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana and Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme, registration, verification and financial and technical aspects of the beneficiaries should be done.
“Necessary preparations should definitely be completed by December 26, 2022, so that on December 29, 2022, there is no hindrance in the transfer of funds through DBT by the State Government by pressing the button and the amount is immediately transferred to the beneficiaries’ account,” the CM directed.
The Chief Minister directed the officials that all necessary preparations related to the ‘Pragati Portal’ to be launched by the Department of Information Technology and E-Governance should be completed on time.
He also instructed the officers of the Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department that the ‘Sports Integrated Portal’ is to be launched on December 29.
“With the launch of this portal, the talented players and coaches of the state will be able to get the full benefit of the sports policy of the state government,” the CM stated.
The Chief Minister said that the arrangement of the portal and its technical details should be thoroughly checked so that after the launch of the portal, the players and coaches do not face any inconvenience on the site.
He also directed the officials that several Model Schools of Excellence under the Department of School Education and Literacy would be inaugurated by the state government on the said occasion. Necessary preparations should be completed in time for this. The Chief Minister said that there should be complete preparation for the launching of the portal for monitoring infra projects.
In the meeting, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh instructed the officers that an event for successfully organising the main function on December 29 in the new auditorium located at the Ministry of Jharkhand (Project Bhawan) on the occasion of the completion of three years of the state government should be held.
He added that a coordination committee should be formed. Necessary preparation at all points for organising the program including minute-to-minute programme, dice plan, and list of invited dignitaries will be ensured by the said committee.
It was also directed in the meeting that programs will be organised in all the districts of the state on this occasion and all the districts will be connected to the main function through an online medium.
