Ranchi, Dec 22: When the big mouth Pankaj Mishra was challenging the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to arrest him in the illegal stone mining case and threatened the media for reporting against him, CM’s press advisor Abhishek Prasad alias Pintu slammed him for the uncalled for statement.

“While I am advising you to fall sick but you are becoming a hero like Amitabh Bachchan and declaring you are well,” Abhishek Prasad alias Pintu chided Pankaj Mishra during a telephonic conversation.

Abhishek Prasad is the media advisor of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren whereas Pankaj Mishra is the MLA representative of the Chief Minister.

The ED intercepted their conversation during the investigation of the illegal stone mining scam where it arrested Pankaj Mishra on July 19 as a key accused.

July was the high time of the investigation when the ED raided his premises and also sent him the notice for appearance. Pankaj Mishra was dubbing the ED as popat (parrot) of the Centre and dared the agency ‘catch me if you can.’ Annoyed by the media reporting, he even threatened the media. The ED intercepted their conversation dated July 10 and the same has been produced before the Jharkhand High Court.

Don’t try to be Amitabh Bachchan… even Lalu Prasad could not chase away ED

The longish conversation starts with Abhishek Prasad scolding Pankaj for his remarks about the ED. “You have said that you will chase away the ED. Even Lalu Yadav could not do this. Don’t live in an illusion. Pankaj Mishra diverts the conversation to another matter and asks Abhishek to check the message he sent on WhatsApp. He asks Abhishek Prasad to get his rivals Shambhu Nandan Kumar and Prakash Chandra Yadav arrested. On this Abhishek, Prasad gives his assurance.

You love controversy it has become your habit: Abhishek slams Pankaj

“It has become your habit to stay in controversy. The statement you gave yesterday (about the media) was not correct. It is the fourth pillar. You are talking nonsense. I don’t know when will you learn politics?” Abhishek Prasad said.

“Ek toh tumko apney thukai ho raha hai upar se tum apney thokane ke chakkar me ho,” he said.

You have spoiled your image as well as that of the CM with your nonsense statement.

Abhishek complained to Pankaj Mishra that his behaviour and the irresponsible statement have dented the image of CM Hemant Soren also.

“Tumhara chhavi kharab ho raha hai. CM ka chhavi kharab ho raha hai,” he said.

“When will you understand? When will you correct yourself? You should not have said all these things. People should maintain restraint. (Lalu Prasad ko toh media bakasbe nahin kiya) The media even did not spare Lalu Prasad,” Abhishek Prasad said.

Abhishek Prasad advised Pankaj Mishra to remain calm as he is passing through a bad time.

Abhishek Prasad offers tips to Pankaj Mishra on how to avoid summon of ED

The ED had directed Pankaj Mishra for his appearance. Abhishek Prasad advised Pankaj Mishra that the only health ground he can avoid the ED. Hence, Pankaj Mishra should prepare his paper and go for the treatment.

“Mera dimag ye kehta hai ki tum ilaj kara lo apna paper work karawa key thik hai,” Abhishek advised. “Listen two reasons only on the basis of treatment you will remain safe otherwise these people (ED) will create trouble for you,” Abhishek told Pankaj Mishra.

Pankaj Mishra who suffering from pancreatic problems said that he has collected medicines for 12 days and he will have to prove it through papers. Abhishek Prasad advises Pankaj Mishra that he should tell the ED about the course of his treatment and the same has not been completed. He advises Pankaj Mishra to somehow avoid the ED for 30 days in the name of treatment. They will decide how to tackle the ED after 30 days.
