Ranchi, Dec.24: Voice demanding justice for ‘love jihad’ victim Rubika Paharia was raised today in the Jharkhand capital.

A city youth Bhairav Singh, who had earlier resorted to ‘attack’ on the CM’s cavalcade after the headless body of a woman, later identified as Sufia Parveen, was recovered from Ormanjhi, has raised the voice.

This time he instead of resorting to attack on the cavalcade resorted to ‘Jal Satyagrah’ to express his ire and demand justice for the primitive tribe woman, who was cut into 40 pieces for not accepting her husband’s religion in Sahibganj after marriage.

It was getting around 2pm when the youth, who remained at least eight months in jail for the alleged attack on the CM’s cavalcade, was noticed standing in the Ranchi Lake. He had placards demanding justice for tribal women and condemning ‘love jihad’. A section of his committed friends was also noticed with him.

“Muslim youths trap Hindu girls using Hindu symbols and then marry them. After marriage they compel them to accept Islam. On refusal, they resort to murder. Whenever such incidents of atrocities come to the fore, the government minimizes the incident terming it a national phenomenon. This act boosts morale of those indulged in love Jihad,” Bhairav was heard saying.

Paharia’s body was recovered a week ago from Sahibganj. Police arrested as many as 10 including her husband Dildar Anari in this connection. The matter was brought into the notice of Jharkhand assembly, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha by BJP MPs and MLAs.
