Koderma, Jan 3: A girl who is a class 10th student left home after being scolded by her parents for using her mobile always. The girl who went missing on December 11 was handed over by the child welfare committee of Bhagalpur safely to her parents on Monday.
Sources said the girl didn’t like her parents scolding her for using her mobile phone. She left her home in Tilokari village under Jainagar block on December 11.
The girl was lucky enough as she was spotted by RPF jawans at Bhagalpur railway station. She caught a train to Asansol from Koderma station. But reaching Asansol, she realised her mistake and again caught a train to return to Koderma. But instead of taking a train to Koderma, she sat on a train going to Bhagalpur where she was handed over to the child welfare committee by RPF.
With Koderma police searching for the girl, they got a message from RPF Bhagalpur about her recovery from there. After proper counseling of the girl as well as talking to her parents, CWC finally allowed her to go home.
CWC members Anil Singh and Shailesh Kumar said the girl was found and she is safe. She didn’t like scolding and so left home, they added.
