Seven males have been detained in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Anjali: Deepak Khanna, Manoj Mittal, Amit Khanna, Krishan, Mithun, Ashutosh (owner of the automobile), and Ankush. For attempting to aid the other five individuals in a cover-up, Ashutosh and Ankush were taken into custody today.

Five men have been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder, causing death by negligence, and criminal conspiracy after they were detained hours after the hit-and-run event.

Anjali, who works for an event management company, was struck by a Baleno driven by four guys on January 1. She was riding her scooter with her companion Nidhi at the time. According to the forensics investigation, Anjali’s leg was caught in the left front wheel of the vehicle and she was dragged for 12 kilometres.
