New Delhi, Jan 15: Miss USA R’Bonney Gabriel has won the Miss Universe 2022 title at the 71st Miss Universe pageant held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States.
Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu crowned the new Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel in a grand event held on January 15.
Over 80 contestants from different countries participated and competed in this year’s pageant. Miss Venezuela was the first runner-up, while Miss Dominican Republic was crowned as the second runner-up. Moreover, Karnataka’s Divita Rai represented India but she was out of the top 5 list.

R’Bonney Gabriel was looking stunning in a crystal-embellished gown at the Miss Universe 2022 finale event. She also wore a crystal-embellished gown and styled it with statement jewels. Soon after the USA was declared the winner, she was overwhelmed by joy as the audience cheered and clapped.
Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel, 28, is a model, fashion designer, and sewing instructor who prioritizes the environment in her work. She is also the first Filipino American to win Miss USA.
