New Delhi, Jan 17: Congress had a high-level conference of security agencies regarding Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is about to enter Jammu and Kashmir.
Security services reportedly examined Rahul Gandhi’s security plans for the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir beginning on January 19. On the roads that Rahul Gandhi will travel on his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir, special security arrangements have been planned.
Kashmir Police and CRPF will provide security for the Congress MP during the Yatra.
“It is the responsibility of the state to provide security to those persons who have been accorded ‘Z+’ security cover. I am confident J&K police have also made adequate arrangements,” said DG CRPF, SL Thaosen on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in J&K.

Notably, the Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, will reach Jammu and Kashmir on January 19 and conclude in a massive rally on January 30, Congress leader Rajani Patil said on Sunday.
Reportedly, the Jammu and Kashmir administration and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has promised all support to the foot march. The yatra will conclude in Srinagar on January 30.

Patil, the Jammu and Kashmir in-charge of the Congress, told reporters that Rahul Gandhi will arrive at Lakhanpur on the Punjab-Jammu border on January 19.
According to sources, security agencies reviewed the security arrangements of routes. A flag-holding ceremony will be held there to welcome the former Congress chief, who will then walk from Lakhanpur to Kathua, Samba and reach Jammu’s Satwari Chowk, where a public gathering will be held.
Patil said Gandhi will reach Banihal from Jammu through Udhampur. From Jammu, he will set out for Srinagar’s Pantha Chowk after travelling through Anantnag. He also said that Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has written to 23 leaders of various political parties across the country, inviting them to the rally.
