Ranchi, Jan 22: Shivam Mishra, a student of the Digital IT Computer Center, a coaching centre near Harmu Muktidham died after he fell off the Pandupuding Fall in Tapkara block of Khunti on Saturday. Meanwhile, his father has alleged on Sunday that Shivam was murdered.

Shailendra Mishra, Shivam’s father and a resident of Hunterganj of Chatra has alleged that his son was murdered and demanded action. In a statement at the local Bariatu police station, Mirshra has alleged that Priya Gupta, teacher of Digital IT Computer Center along with students Mohammad Irfan Alam, Meena Manjhi, Mamta Hembram and Nikita Kumari murdered his son. He has also claimed that Irfan played an important role in the incident.

Notably, all the students at the coaching were taken for a picnic by the institute to Pandupuding Fall located in Tapkara block of Khunti. Mishra has claimed that Shivam was reluctant to go to the picnic. Despite this, Priya Gupta, the head of the institute, pressured him to go along saying, “If you do not go, three-four others would also not go.” Mishra has further claimed that Mohammad Irfan Alam, Meena Manjhi, Mamta Hembram and Nikita Kumari, who live near Imli Chowk in Harmu area, also pressured Shivam to go on a picnic.

Mishra alleges that after everyone sat in the car after the picnic, Irfan pushed his son out of the car and into the fall. Mishra claims that after this Irfan informed all of Shivam falling. He further has claimed that Gupta, the teacher and head of the coaching informed Mishra that Shivam was taken to the referral hospital for treatment, but was brought to RIMS after not being admitted there. Doctors at RIMS had later declared Shivam brought dead. Mishra claims that everyone ran off after bringing Shivam to RIMS.

After getting information about the incident, BJP Khunti in-charge Satyanarayan Singh reached the morgue at RIMS. On the other hand, Doranda College teachers Awadhesh Thakur, Dr. Atal Pandey and ABVP’s Rohit Singh consoled the family members. Local Bariatu police station has informed Tapkra police station for further action.
