New Delhi, Jan 24: Zomato’s Chief Executive Officer Deepinder Goyal has shared about 800 job opening at the firm across five areas. There are 5 profiles for which employees are being hired at present.

While tech giants are laying off employees around the globe, zomato’s chief stated that the food aggregator was looking to hire engineers, product managers and growth managers. He also posted ads to attract people to hire a chief of staff for CEO, generalist, product owner and software development engineer.

The company is currently rebranding the business and working on a new menu with its restaurant partners.

The decision was announced by goyal on LinkedIn.

He said “Hello everyone – we have about 800 positions open across these 5 roles at Zomato. If you happen to know someone really good for any of these roles, please tag them on this thread. To express interest in knowing more about any of these roles, please email me. My and/or team will be prompt in responding to you and closing the loop either way,” he added.

The company’s co-founder and chief technology officer, Gunjan Patidar, resigned earlier this month and co-founder Mohit Gupta quit in November last year. Rahul Ganjoo, the head of new initiatives, left the company in November.

Also, Zomato disposed of its 10-minute delivery service on Monday, a year after piloting it in Bengaluru, Gurugram and some areas of Delhi.
