Tata Main Hospital to begin health check-up for all citizens of Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan 25: In an effort towards promoting wellness and early diagnosis of common diseases, Tata Main Hospital would start the Wellness Health Check-up of all citizens of Jamshedpur at the TMH Health Check-up Centre, Sonari, from January 27.

The centre, which started conducting health check-up for all Tata Steel employees and spouses in Jamshedpur six months ago, is now extending its facilities for all the citizens of Jamshedpur.

Bookings for the new facility will start from January 27 and can be done through the TMH Vishwas app/portal which also allows online payment and online slot reservation.

Bookings can also be done for walk-in citizens on cash payment at the OPD Counter.

Individuals can contact 9040089571 from 9 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm, except Sundays for query clarification.

There are six packages that will be on offer ranging from Rs 3500 to Rs 5500.

Each package will have around 16-17 tests on the basis of the age categories.

The tests will be done as per the latest recommended clinical guidelines from international agencies for the screening of cardiac disease, diabetes, and the common cancers like colorectal cancers, breast cancer screening with mammography and cervical cancer screening with Pap Smear.

After the recommended lab tests,  individuals will be examined by a specialist physician, surgeon, ophthalmologist (Eye), otorhinolaryngologist (ENT) and gynaecologist (for women). dietician advice will be available for all.

All citizens willing to undergo Wellness Health Check-up can prebook their slots up to two days in advance and give their fasting blood, urine, and stool samples at TMH or any of the TMH Clinics collecting blood samples. During the Wellness Health Check-up, ECG, Pulmonary Function Test and X-Ray chest will be done for all.

Those opting for Plus package can avail home blood collection and priority services covered under the Wellness Health Check-up.
