IMD forecasts clear weather in Jharkhand with changes in min temp

Jamshedpur, Jan 27: IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre issued a forecast of dry weather across Jharkhand in the next three days with slight changes in minimum temperature.

Northern parts of the state are expected to witness a gradual fall by 2-3°C during the next two days and thereafter a gradual rise by 2-3°C in the subsequent two days while in the remaining parts of the state no significant change in minimum during next five days.

Met statistics revealed that maximum temperature was observed below normal over most parts during the first few days of the week whereas above normal trend was seen later in the week over the state.

The Western Disturbance is now seen as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 Km above mean sea level.

“Under the influence of the present synoptic features, dynamical scenario and model guidance dry weather is expected to prevail over the state in the next one week,” said Abhishek Anand, head of Ranchi Met Centre.

According to Met statistics minimum temperature hovered between 12 and 15 degree Celsius in most parts of the state during the past 24 hours.
