Daltonganj, Jan 28: Latehar police today arrested three and solved the government school theft case which took place on January 2. The three arrested have been identified as Dhiraj Kumar, Ravinder Paswan and Yash Kumar Singh.
Notably, the thieves stole 10 monitors, one multi-functional printer, three headphones, eight keyboards and 10 mouses from the school’s computer lab.
Manika police had registered the FIR under section 380 of the IPC on January 2 against unknown thieves.
Notably, Police first detained Dhiraj Kumar, who on quizzing gave the leads to the theft. This detainee told police about Ravinder Paswan in whose house all the stolen articles of the computer were kept.
All three have been remanded in judicial custody today.
Dhiraj Kumar is of Manika in Latehar district while Ravinder Paswan and Yash Kumar Singh hail from Paton block in Palamu. The police have also recovered all the stolen items
Moreover, the police also seized one SUV which was used in the crime.
The Sub-divisional police officer of Latehar Santosh Kumar Mishra told lagatar24.com that police would find out where these stolen goods were to be sold or shipped.
SDPO Mishra said there could be some more people involved in this crime of theft.
Mishra added that the theft case was cracked on Friday and police, in an act, swift and precise, arrested the other two in addition to its first catch.
