Dhanbad, Feb 14: a five-day workshop on Research Methodology and Research Paper Writing (RMRPW) began at BIT Sindri with a record participation of experts and speakers from the country and abroad.
Prof Sanjay Kumar Shukla of Edith Cowan University, Perth (Australia) was the chief speaker of the workshop and guided the participants on Research Methodology and Research Paper Writing.
The BIT Sindri Electrical Engineering department has organised this auspicious week-long workshop in which convener Dr Md Abul Kalam and coordinator Prof Praveen Kumar said more than 150 professors from the country and abroad, PhD researchers M Tech students are participating.
The chief speaker Prof (Dr Sanjay Kumar Shukla), while addressing the workshop on online mode from Edith Cowan University Perth (Australia) gave major information about the seven ‘Mantras’ required for successful research work and same time also alerted the students about the mistakes occur on technical facts while writing the research paper.
BIT director Dr DK Singh while addressing the workshop highly appreciated the Electrical Engineering department for organising the ambitious topic of the seminar and motivating the M Tech students, PhD researchers and faculty members for quality research.
Dr Om Prakash (ME) while Inaugurating the second session, informed me about the important facts of writing a research paper and highlighted the important points for publishing a research paper. He also shared new techniques of research through his experiences.
Dr Md Abul Kalam, Head of the Department, (Electrical Engineering) and Dr Chandan Kumar (ME) shared their experiences with researchers and boosted the morale of those participating in the workshop.
Besides BIT director Dr DK, convener of the workshop Dr Md Abul Kalam (HoD BIT Sindri), Dr Vineet Shekhar, Dr AK Chowdhary, Coordinator Prof. Praveen Kumar, Prof M Rahman, Co-coordinator Dr Chandan Kumar (ME), and Dr Rajendra Murmu (EE) also played a major role in organising the workshop
