Daltonganj, Feb 20: Nilamber Pitamber University has extended the last date for filing the applications for PhD entrance test from February 22 to February 28.

Dr Rakesh Kumar, Registrar of the NP university said, “The last date for filing the applications for the PhD entrance test from February 22 to February 28 has been extended in view of the prolonged suspension of internet services in the Palamu district till February 19 as the part of public emergency and public safety.”

Registrar further said that university officials received calls from the candidates requesting an extension of the deadline following the outage of internet services.

Sweetie Kumari, an MA English applicant said, “The suspension of internet services has ruined all her plans to file the application for PhD entrance test and then an unsightly incident occurred at Panki which further disrupted her academic pursuits.”

Notably, the candidates can file their applications both ways by envelope and online.
