Dhanbad, March 1: Indian Dental Association (IDA) today felicitated Dr Vivek Kumar chairman of Jharkhand State Dental Council (JSDC) at the annual general meeting held in Abdul Kalam Hall, Mumbai for his outstanding work.
IDA secretary Dr Ashok Dobal presented Dr Vivek Kumar’s certificate and golden plate as a mark of honour during the convention for implementing a biometric attendance system in all 316 registered dental colleges across the country.
Dr Vivek Kumar is also an executive committee member of the Dental Council of India and is working for the recognition of dental surgery course seats and launching dental Post Graduate (PG) courses in all faculty in Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) Ranchi.
Dr Vivek Kumar while thanking the IDA for recognizing his contribution to development in the dental field said that this could be possible due to the cooperation and contribution of association and council members.
Last year on World Oral Health Day, Dr Vivek Kumar was felicitated for his service to patients during the Covid period.
