Hazaribag, March 3: After incidents of fire claiming lives in different parts of the state, deputy commissioner Nancy Sahay ordered for fire safety mock at the district collectorate which took place this afternoon.
Fire officials stressed fire safety training for each and every person so as to stay safe during any such incidents.
Sources said the team displayed all techniques as to how to save their own and others’ lives as well. Even training was given on how to use fire extinguishers.
In this newly built three-storied district collectorate, a number of government offices are here and fire safety gadgets are installed on each and every floor. Sources said Sahay wants each and every employee to undergo this training to know about the use of fire safety gadgets and so this mock drill was organised.
