New Delhi, March 10: The Border Security Force (BSF) has detained a third Pakistani national in Punjab, close to the international border. The intruder, a citizen of Pakistan’s Khyber district, was captured on the intervening night of March 9–10 in the Punjabi province’s Ferozpur Sector.
Near Border Outpost Tirath in the Ferozpure area, according to BSF, the intrusive person crossed the international border and entered Indian territory.

“BSF troop arrested him and conducted his search. During initial questioning he revealed to be a resident of Dist. Khyber, Pakistan. Further course of action per the SOP is under progress,” said the BSF in a statement.
In the Gurdaspur sector of Punjab, close to the international border, the BSF also detained a Pakistani national on Thursday in the late afternoon.
The Pakistani infiltrator, identified as Aamir Raza, a citizen of the Sialkot district of Pakistan, was apprehended by BSF soldiers in the vicinity of Border Outpost Nikka in the Gurdaspur sector. The intruder, according to the force, violated the international border and entered Indian territory.
