New Delhi, March 10: Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, is currently the target of raids by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the land-for-jobs scam investigation. The RJD leader’s home is located in the New Friends colony in the nation’s capital, and ED investigators are conducting raids there.

In connection with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) scam, searches are being undertaken at 15 locations across three states. The home of RJD politician and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s aide Abu Dojana in Patna, Bihar, is also the target of raids.

The properties connected to Lalu Yadav and his family are among the targets of the ED searches, which are now taking place in Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

Days before to the raids, the CBI questioned former Bihar CM Rabri Devi and RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav on the land-for-jobs scandal.

According to them, the issue involves individuals who were reportedly granted jobs in the railroads in exchange for giving or selling land tracts to the Yadav family and its affiliates at a discount.

According to reports, Prasad, his wife, former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi, and 14 other people have been charged by the CBI with criminal conspiracy and violating the Prevention of Corruption Act. They have all been summons to court on March 15 as a result.

This CBI complaint led to the ED case, which was brought under the criminal provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
