Five-day advanced management program for MSMEs begins at NIT Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, March 23: A five-day Advanced Management Development Programme for MSMEs kicked off at the Adityapur-based NIT Jamshedpur. The Advanced Management Development Programme was sponsored by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

The objectives of the program include capacity building of MSMEs through management inputs to increase the decision-making capabilities of managers, supervisors and entrepreneurs as well as to disseminate scientific/modern management techniques/practices.

Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Director, NITIE, Mumbai was the chief guest for the inaugural session. Prof. Karunesh Kumar Shukla, Director, NIT Jamshedpur addressed the session encouraging the growth and expansion of the economy through incorporating entrepreneurial culture.

Prof. Ram Vinay Sharma, Deputy Director, NIT Jamshedpur also addressed the session and spoke about the significance of the promotion of medium and small scale Industries for the growth of the economy.

The Course is being organized by the Training and Placement Cell of the institute. The program will cover topics like Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Intellectual Property Rights and Soft Skills.

Participants from MSMEs and different allied renowned companies like RSB Transmissions Ltd, Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Ltd, Deloitte, DSIR, EXL Services, Rethink Career Hub, Caparo Engineering India Ltd, M/s Engineers World, Shivam Construction, RCET Bhilai, Jamshedpur Polymer Products Pvt Ltd, Houseplus have registered as participants for the course.
