New Delhi, April 5: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address BJP members on the occasion of the party’s founding day.
In addition, the party would use daytime wall writing to further its campaign for his reelection in the Lok Sabha elections the following year.
Once BJP President J P Nadda conducts the exercise from the nation’s capital at midday, party activists will write slogans “Ek Baar Phir Se Modi Sarkar” and “Ek Baar Phir Se Bhajpa Sarkar” on walls at about 10.72 lakh places, according to BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh.
Also, he gave reporters an overview of the “social justice week” the party will mark between its founding day and Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary on April 14.
The BJP will conduct statewide commemorative events in honour of Ambedkar, a symbol for Dalits and a liberation fighter, social reformer, economist, and architect of India’s constitution.
On April 11, according to Chugh, party members will also commemorate the birth anniversary of social reformer Jyotiba Phule.
He praised Modi for his administration’s work for the underprivileged and the nation’s growth and announced that the prime minister’s speech would broadcast live at more than 10 lakh locations nationwide.
On April 6, 1980, the BJP was established as a result of leaders of the former Jana Sangh leaving the Janata Party to launch a new organisation.
