Hazaribag, April 10: Former Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi came out of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan Central Jail this evenig after being granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court on April 5. After completing the court process, she was released.
Talking to reporters, Mama presented a bold face and said what happened has not demotivated her in any way. But I am more empowered to work for my people, she added. After coming out, she said that she will continue to work in the same way in the service of the public.
Even though she will not be able to contest the elections in the coming 2024, she will continue to serve as the voice of the general public. She said she will also approach the High Court regarding this matter. Mata said she is confident that those people will also get justice. Though I will not be able to contest the elections, but will definitely work to convey my views to the government regarding the issues of her area.
“Going to jail has not reduced mymorale in any way, rather it has empowered me more,” added she. After coming out of jail, Mamta Devi will stay at her house till 11th April. A grand welcome program has been organised in Ramgarh on 12th April.
