Over a dozen trains cancelled for track work in SER’s Kharagpur division, check list

Jamshedpur, April 15:  Check your travel plans before venturing out as South Eastern Railway today announced cancellation, short – termination and rescheduling of several trains due to track and signalling work in its Kharagpur division.

A circular issued by Garden Reach, headquarters of South Eastern Railway stated that in view of a pre -non interlocking work from April 16 to 18 and non – interlocking work on April 19 and 20 at Nekurseni station in Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway in connection with Narayangarh – Bhadrak third line work, as many as 15 trains will remain cancelled.

 List of Cancelled Trains

1.    12074/12073 Bhubaneswar – Howrah – Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express, journey commencing on April 17 will remain cancelled.
2.     12278/12277 Puri – Howrah – Puri Shatabdi Express, journey commencing on 1April 17 and 20 will remain cancelled.
3.     18046 Hyderabad – Shalimar East Coast Express, journey commencing on April 16, 18 and 19 will remain cancelled.
4.     18045 Shalimar – Hyderabad East Coast Express, journey commencing on April 17, 19 and 20 will remain cancelled.
5.     18043/18044 Howrah -Bhadrak – Howrah Express, journey commencing between April 18 and 20 will remain cancelled.
6.     12821/12822 Shalima-Puri-Shalimar Dhauli Express, journey commencing on  April 19 and 20 will remain cancelled.

7.     22836 Puri -Shalimar Express, journey commencing on April 18 will remain cancelled.

8.     22835 Shalimar -Puri Express, journey commencing on April 19 will remain cancelled.

9.     12882 Puri – Shalimar Garib Rath Express, journey commencing on April 19 will remain cancelled.

10. 12881 Shalimar – Puri Garib Rath Express, journey commencing on April 20 will remain cancelled.

11. 08017/08018 Kharagpur – Balasore -Kharagpur MEMU Passenger Special, journey commencing between April 18 and 20  will remain cancelled.

12. 18007 Shalimar – Bhanjpur Express, journey commencing on April 19 will remain cancelled.

13. 18008 Bhanjpur – Shalimar Express, journey commencing on  April 20 will remain cancelled.

14. 08061/08062 Howrah-Jaleswar- Howrah MEMU Passenger Special, journey commencing on April 19 and 20 will remain cancelled.

Short Termination of Trains

1.     18038 Jajpur Keonjhar Road – Kharagpur Express, journey commencing on April 17 will be short terminated at Dantan

2.     18022 Khurda Road – Kharagpur Express, journey commencing on  April 18 will be short terminated at Dantan.

 Rescheduling of Train

1.      12881 Shalimar -Puri Garib Rath Express will be rescheduled to leave Shalimar at 9.45 pm instead of 8.45 pm on April 18.

The SER headquarters had sent the circular to all stations under its jurisdiction regarding cancellation and other changes in running of trains due to the infrastructure development work.
