Ranchi, April 15: The Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) special court today allowed the Enforcement Directorate to take the army land scam accused on four-day remand for interrogation.

The probe agency had prayed for a five-day remand yesterday. The court gave permission for four days today after hearing the arguments of all sides.

On April 13, while taking action in the Army land scam case, the ED had arrested seven people. The arrested persons include businessman Pradeep Bagchi, CI Bhanu Pratap, Afsar Ali, Imtiaz Khan, Talha Khan, Fayaz Khan and Mohammad Saddam. The ED produced the seven arrested accused before the court on Friday, amid tight security. The court had sent everyone to judicial custody.
